At Diamond Sports Health and Human Performance, our mission is to provide personalized and evidence-based health and human performance solutions for both baseball and softball players. We specialize in sport-specific training methods to optimize rotational power while prioritizing shoulder health and overall injury prevention. Our goal is to empower athletes to reach their full potential, fostering a community where personalized and evidence-based training converge for peak athletic performance and maximized on-field success.
Diamond Sports Health and Human Performance is owned and operated by Mick Glaze, an NSCA-certified strength and conditioning specialist. Rooted in a lifelong passion for sports, Mick's playing career included a Senior Babe Ruth World Championship in 1989 and concluded in 1995 with an All-Conference selection at Willamette University. After his playing career, Mick entered the coaching ranks, began a teaching career, and shortly thereafter began to build his strength and conditioning business. With over 25 years of teaching, coaching, and training, he utilizes his wealth of knowledge and experience to effectively implement and communicate training protocols tailored to meet the unique needs of each athlete.
